  1. Well that should be a no brainer.

When you work out you are tearing down your muscles, and then after they need time to repair. So while they are torn down and repairing they are sore.

    Oh and a little tip.

Don't work out again untill they aren't sore anymore, because then you aren't building muscle and your workouts will be meaningless.

  2. When you work out you are actually destroying some of your muscles. The body signals this to you through giving you pain. As your muscle cells break down new bigger cells replace them

  3. because your using muscles in a way they aren't being used to being worked.

Keep working out, don't stop and it'll get better

  4. because you are putting a lot of stress on your muscles.  make sure your fully replenish your body fluids too, you could be dehydrated.

  5. You may have overworked your muscles, but I think that the reason is that it is because you did not properly stretch them before the workout, so they weren't flexible and warmed up when you worked out. Do stretches to target the muscles you're working out before working them out so you avoid soreness.
