I don't mean sound arrogant or anything but I consider myself a good actor. I'm 17 and I'm shy and introverted. I'm very quiet and don't have alot of friends. I grew up in a home with a father who drinks and was a bit abusive towards my mom. This made me even more withdrawn. I've noticed that alot of good actors are like me, shy and withdrawn. Robert Di Niro is an example. In my drama class, we had to do monologues from a pretty dramatic play. I can say I did extremely well(at least compared to everyone else). I played a guy who's ex-wife just murdered his children. This play was Medea if anybody knows it. Anyways I pretty much fell apart during it and almost started to cry. My teacher said I was excellent and I got cheers from the others. I did a monologue from the same play and everyone said it was memorable. My teacher said I set the bar very high. Why am I so good at this? It surprises everyone and myself as well because nobody expects this of me.
