I always feel tired and I don't really have an idea why, its more in my muscles then actually tired. Im 15 and a runner. I run in and out of school, but i dont think thats the problem. Even when I dont run I wake up and my legs are tired. Its really a pain because i cant perform my best during races and in practices. I just never really feel good and want to know why. Like i said im 15 almost 16 and small framed (about 5'7" and 120 pounds) I have grown guite a bit recently, around 6in in the past 1 1/2 years. What is the problem and what can i do?

  1. You might want to check for mono.  Are you sleeping a lot more than normal?  Are your glands swollen?

You could just be growing though.  Teenagers tend to be more tired.  Make sure you're getting a full night sleep and make sure you're eating really healthy.  Eat bananas and grains before you run.

  2. You could try increasing your intake of protein and other essential vitamins
