I can get 10 hours of sleep and feel completely tired, why is this? I want to sleep more but I feel like that will only make it worse. I don't think I have mono, it just randomly happens.

  1. You could be getting to much sleep. I know if I sleep to much that happens. I feel crappy all day. Also, make sure you have a good high protein breakfast, loading up on carbs will make you feel tired all day also.

  2. try doing sports and it might be what your eating. Cause I get tired after a big meal =D

  3. oh geez, same problem with me. You may have low iron. I went to the doctors to get my blood tested, turns out i'm anemic, which means i have low iron. Being anemic causes you to be tired most of the time and not really wanting to do anything.

Or maybe you arnt eating enough fruits and veggies

i would go to a doctor to get your blood tested

  4. Always being tired can be a symptom for other medical problem, such as an under active Thyroid. Go to the doctor, They may do a blood test to see if anything is out of wack. Also more excerise sometimes helps

  5. Perhaps a women's energy multivitamin every day might help.  They contain extra B vitamins for energy.

  6. with me, the more sleep i get, the more tired i am next day.

  8. Hypersomnia is defined as excessive daytime sleepiness and/or nighttime sleep.

Humans sleep for an average of eight hours a night. Those with hypersomnia may find themselves sleeping for over ten hours at a time.

The most common symptoms are napping at inappropriate times, difficulty waking up, anxiety, irritability, restlessness and fatigue.

Some more serious symptoms may include hallucination, loss of appetite, memory loss, or the inability to hear, see, taste, or smell things accurately. The disorder can have a profound effect on one’s ability to cope in social situations.

There is a range of possible causes for the condition, but the primary cause is described as abnormalities that occur during sleep or abnormalities of specific sleep functions

  9. sometimes the more you sleep the more you want to.  Try cutting back to 9 & if you don't feel better cut back some more.  Give each try a week before you cut back more.  If after you get down to 7 hours then quit trying & go to your doctor,  Or you could try B12.
