Why am I to young to buy a handgun in New York but old enough to be given an assault rifle and sen off to kill

and die for my country? Is it reasonable that I cant buy a bottle of wine to go with my dinner but i can fire rockets at enemy armored vehicles?

LOL Because while you are killing people you are supervised and preforming an action that makes the rich richer. When you are drinking the chances are you are causing trouble.

You need to be young and impressionable if you're going to willingly kill innocent people in a far away land for reasons you can't possibly understand.

Wouldn't want anyone wise or educated in the military....
