Why am I unable to unsubscribe from a yahoo group?

I have checked spelling etc.

sending e-mail to unsub is still faulty for many- if you can

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check small box - click save changes

I don't think there's anything to spell or even type.  

→ On the Yahoo! home page, click on "Groups" on the left side of the page

→ Go to the group you want to cancel out of and log on if you aren't already

→ At the top of the page, click on "Edit Membership"

→ At the bottom right of that page, you'll see 3 buttons. One of them is "Leave Group".

That's pretty much it.  Once you click on "Leave Group", just follow any prompts there might be.  I've done it, so I know it works.
