Why am I unable to view the video clips that I upload from my digital camera?

I have Windows Vista 32 on my computer. I have a HP425 digital camera that has the capability of doing short video clips as well as photos. My photos upload to my computer with no problem. But when I upload a video clip, it will not playback properly. I can hear the audio but the picture is just a black screen.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. It's not a big deal but I would kind of like to be able to enjoy all the features of my camera.

  1. The video clips can be uploaded in your computer by making a wav file on your computer. The advantage of making a wav file is that it can also be uploaded on websites that help in watching that movies that are accessed and viewed with media software. You can fallow these instructions for your ease:

    • Connect a USB port cord from your camera to your computer. Drives vary, but usually, it will be the "G" Drive on your computer.

    • Upload your video file to your computer. If it doesn't automatically load, go to the "Start" button on your computer, and go to "My Computer". Find the drive that you want to upload to.

    • Access your Media Player and play your movie. If you want to upload your .wav file to a website, use the upload feature from the website.
