Many things can cause this. Your security can be set too high.

Your cache needs to be clean

Go to your start, Control panel,

click on Network and Internet connection.

Click on network connection

Right click on the internet Icon, Click on repair.

This will give you internet a boost and repair any problems or tell you what you need to do.

You can also set your montem off and wait for 15 minutes , then turn it one

If you have a dial up unconnect from it for 10 to 15 mintues

But check your security level and clean your cache first.
