Why am i embarrassed ?

i don't know how to stop feeling confident when i invite someone over to my house...... the thing is i moved like 3 years ago into this small flat, and all my friends live in a house or in a big house. I know it's stupid but i can't stop feeling embarrassed to tell people were i live. I know it's impossible to move, or stay isolated and avoid telling people were i live. The only thing i can do is accept my reality.

How can i deal with this feeling?

Well, I would just say to decorate and such it the way you feel most comfortable and confident in. Who cares if it isn't a house? Flats can be just as good, if not better. People will generally feel about someones home as the person living in it does, it's a vibe thing.
