Why am i getting boils?

  1. Ooh, boils are nasty and are infections. you may get boils from an ingrown hair, so if you shave wax or pluck the area, that may explain it. In addition, a boil may be caused by a blocked pore. When the boil resembles a pimple, with the 'head' sticking up a bit, get a washcloth, soak it in very warm water, and rest it over the boil. It will probably drain on its own, and once it does, apply peroxide to it. If it bubbles white, that means the peroxide is getting at the germs causing it. Do NOT pop a boil, as they are caused by infections, that will only make it worse and possibly spread farther.

    Mostly boils are no big deal, although not pleasant. However, there are several medical conditions that make people prone to boils, so if you are getting quite a lot, consult your doctor.
