Why am i getting lower back pain on my trailing foot side when wakeboarding?

  1. try adust your rear binding angle it could help a lot not promising anything and / or try trailing your hand to the back of the board


  2. your getting pain because that is the foot you push down on when wakeboarding.

  3. Sounds like you might be leaning forward too much.  Once up and riding, stand up straight and relax a little. In the proper stance, your forearms should burn out before you back.

  4. same as above let go of the trailing had and be sure to stretch before you hit the water. Cold water makes you tighten up. not good for the back. When you are out on that back side edge commit to the turn and set an edge. good luck and have fun.

  5. try letting go with the "trailing" hand. maybe it will release tension and torque on the ol' back.
