Why am i getting my period if ...?

... im on the pill and i shouldnt be starting my period until August 4th!?

its not heavy at all (my periods usually are heavy) and ive been on the pill for 4 years on and off,

most recently ive been on it since october with no stopping. i started a different brand of pill 3 months ago but i never had my period in the middle of the pack before!

And i didnt miss any pills or take any pills late in this pack.

what are some reasons this could be happening ???

i really really feel that its not a cycst

reason is i just had my OBGYN yearly exam in May and everything came back fine.

any other reasons it could be?

also there is no pain or other symptoms...

i just feels like normal period stuff, just A LOT lighter (and not at the right time)

I am taking the generic version of Ortho Tri Cyclin. I am wondering if its not working correctly.

The thing about ortho tri cyclin is that the different colored pills represent different level hormones. SO that sometimes can cause spotting. So do not worry about it, and its also very close to your period. Good luck. If there is anymore concern go to the doctors.

Most birth control pills tell you that you can experience spotting or light bleeding while taking them. If it continues I would call your doctor. It's possible the hormones in that pill aren't strong enough and you may need to try another brand.

I've been having the same problem for the past 3 months...my doc said it can be due to stress or weight loss/gain.

I went on the generic version of Ortho Tri Cyclen in February and just recently stopped taking it all together. I had a lot of trouble with it. A lot of spotting, horrible horrible cramps, felt completely sick during AF. I didn't like it at all.
