Why am i loosing so much weight? *worried*?

i am 18, about 5 foot 4... i weigh 6 stone 10 i admit, sometimes i skip meals or dont eat as much as i should but recently i have been trying to gain weight but it just isn't happening i keep loosing it! i have been eating alot more than usual but it seems the more i eat the more i lose! whats going on? any ideas? im abit concerned as it really shows, i can clearly see my ribs and hip bones and i look so small. i am in size 0 trousers... and i need a belt with them!. any ideas?

  1. You could have an overactive metabolism in which case the more you eat, the more you are giving your body to burn off. Try eating protein bars, or weight gain supplements (they have some tasty ones near granola bars at most stores) If nothing else works, you should see your dr. He might be able to help you out if you have an overactive thyroid or metabolism. Dont put it off too long or you could become really sick.  


  2. There are lots of things which could cause you too lose weight.  You should go along to your doctor and get them to do blood tests to rule out things such as diabetes or thyroid problems, but it could just be that you have a natural high metabolism.

  3. Oh there's definitely something wrong there. Five foot our and only 94 pounds? Sweetheart, get yourself to a doctor, while there's still enough of you to examine.

  4. go and speak to your doctor, you could be diabetic.

    you probably just have a really fast metabolism but it's better to be safe than sorry, they could recommend some kind of diet that helps you put on weight.  

  5. Maybe you have high blood sugar and you're diabetic. The high blood sugar can sometimes make you drop the pounds unhealthily.

  6. you may have a  dangerously high metabilism, seek a physicion.

  7. go to the doctors it might be serious. you could try complan- its a high calorie hot drink. eat dairy products too. try doing a bit if excersize to build up muscles too.

  8. I think you should eat a lot and do exercise. Doing excersice helps your hormones to grow muscle fibre which help your body do gain muscle. And get some sleep upto 8 to 10 hours.
