Why am i not considered attractive by male population?

Question

i think i am pretty OK and my friends say that i look attractive. However, all through this time every male person that i have come across with considers me as a friend or as sis (on whose shoulders they cry out all their worries) Do you think that it is because i am a nerd, i get top grades and everything.... does this put guys off me?

WoW! I have the exact same problem with women. -It's possible that because your smart, guys are intimidated by you, and as far as them thinking of you as a friend-I think that does have something to do with appearance, like for me, I LOOK friendly, and easy to talk to-(not like a hottie) and because of that I get stuck as the friend always. I've tried to combat that by working out, and dressing more threateningly..like wearing black. Some of the attractiveness comes from confidence (you have to believe your hot) It takes time..but it works..good luck.

Do you make it a point to look feminine? Brains on a girl can be attractive, but looks and personality are what attracts a guy at first. Are you so shy that guys don't want to put the time in to open you up? Do you make it a contest/corrects them when someone talks to you. Are you a fun girl? Ask a good friend (boy or girl) to honestly critique you and tell you how you can improve your flirting/personable skills. That should help.

You can't say that the whole male population isn't attracted to you, you don't know every man out there. I guarantee you that there is a good share of men out there who would enjoy your company, & find you beautiful... don't be discouraged by the ones you know.
