Why am i not getting called about the job?

I recently got called for a job as a busgirl at a bakery near my house. the guy said to call him back if i was still interested... i did and he said to meet him for an interview in a half hour... then he called and said he couldn't do it then and he would call me back to decide a time. It has been 2 hours and i have not gotten called. what is going on!!!??

Call him back. Don't use an excuse like "my phone was dead and I thought I might have missed your call", just be honest. "I really want to interview for this position, is there a more convenient time I could call you to set up a time?"

I would go by the place and pick up something to eat-

that way you have an excuse to be there to check up on the job.

Managers get busy during the day, and he could have seriously forgot to call you back like he said he would. I would wait a day or two and then check back on it.

You can either try calling back, or wait some more. Did he say that he'd call you back today? If he didn't then you can wait until tommorow and see.

Doesnt sound like a reputable company to work with, and he doesn't seem like a trustful person to have as a boss. I would suggest trying someplace else. You can try looking online for employment and filling out applications as well, for companies which are local to your area. Also, you can try getting an online job, there are plenty of those for sure.
