Why am i not so obsessed with the gym and my diet?

Im 19. For the last 3 years I've been quite keen on going to the gym and eating properly. The last year I didnt eat properly so much because there wasnt much point with the amount of parties I was going to. My aims have changed from going to the gym to looking good to going to the gym to get stronger and fitter. This way I can go to all the parties and not stick to the 24/7 diet all the time and not give up drink. I always thought I would care about diet and gym more as i got older but now its more about having a life. What has made me change?

  1. it's an age thing, going to the gym just to look good is an obsession and it wears you out, too much exercise is not good either, body needs, so just keep going to get stronger and fitter, it will still have you looking good, its good to change things up in the gym.  as you get like 30 you will be going to the gym to stay healthy and away from the doctors and medication, its true.
