Why am i scared to die someday??

i just never want to die because i dont like thinking about being in heaven for eternity, i get scared when i think about forever in heaven:/

The more you accept death as a part of living, the more alive you feel, at this very moment.

Accept it, and you'll feel much better. And by the way, you are not alone...everyone wonders about death...just that some people do not think of it TOO much, as they have alot on their hands....sometimes, thinking of your daughter, pursuiing your dreams etc..keep you busy from constantly thinking about death.

By the way, nobody knows for sure if heaven or h**l exists...we just do not know.......accept life's uncertainties, cos if you think about it, life IS all about uncertainties...we should embrace it.

listen, it is scary to think about dying. i understand that. but everybody has to die sometime. trust me, you won't be the only one.  :)  

and when you think about heaven, it shouldn't scare you one bit. it'll be the best thing to ever happen. there's no tears or sadness or hate or any of that stuff. the streets are made of gold and everything.  don't be scared of heaven.  trust me.  :)

As for as dying, There is a time for everything a time to live and a time to die. Instead of thinking about dying all the time, get busy living!

You need to go to an actual church of a denomination like Baptist, Wesleyan, Lutheran, Methodist etc. (not some weird charismatic or new age place either) and talk to the pastor about this.  You are scared because you are not saved.  Once you truly accept Jesus as your saviour and recieve the Holy Spirit, you will no longer fear death.  

Read the Bible (get a New King James Bible, not some of the messed up "newer" translations) and read the Gospels, especially Luke and John.  Read about what Jesus says about Heaven and you'll see there is nothing to be afraid of.  Heaven is a wonderful place that will be even better than your favorite place here on earth could ever be.

I only fear the concept of Forever, or Infinity. That means if you imagine like a million century time period, that might as well be the blink of an eye. What happens to your conciousness? On and on and on with no end? How does that work?

If you think about it, you dont know what heaven is or if it exists, mabie when we die we just die and nothing happenes afterwards. I think it shouldnt be scary to think what happenes to us afterwards, just enjoy the time you have now and dont fear death

Do you remember your feelings when you were born? Death will also be one like that but in reverse.When birth takes place awareness starts. When death happens all memory and awareness cease. In fact it is a blessing for the long tormented soul which vacillates between bundles of sorrow and happiness during life. It will be a period of long peace without any disturbance what so ever. This is what is called as  heaven.Most of the writing on heaven is more based on surmise rather than on actual experience as nobody has returned from death to describe his experience in heaven.

Don't take life very seriously and similarly death also.This is what the famous British poet and satirist Samuel Butler (1612-1680) had said on death"If life must not be taken too seriously -- then so neither must death".
