Why am i so fascinated by boats they rock is it becuase Im a nature person?

What qualities do you think a person who Like baots might have in their soul and what other new things do you think a persobn whio like boats might like as well?

I think that people who like boats are looking for peace in their lives, and can find it in nature and in the simple things of life.  People who like boats probably appreciate nature, hiking, exploring, travelling, having simple adventures.  We may be fascinated by the rocking of boats because in some kind of mysterious way it takes us back to even before we were born, and the rocking in the womb.

Boats are the source to all exhilaration, exitement, and fun on water. Whrere else can you glide over waves and feel the ocean water all around you?

Boats are beautiful to look at , especially on a serene body of water, the gentle rocking is erotic and hypnotic.

They are utile, such as ferrys or for fishing, so they also appeal to a practical side.

They are exhilerating and fun to ride for shear pleasure, the open fresh air and wind blowing in your hair.

I can't understand a soul that does not  find that boats(rock)

For me its the exhilaration I feel when we're heading down the river. The wind in my hair and the sun in my face, nothing else quite like it. Then at anchor with the boat rolling peacefully,  total paradise.. Total freedom. Like I said.. Nothing else quite like it

It's funny but I just read our marina's 1st newsletter of 2008 and then come upon your question. TIn the newsletter the owner of the marina was asked by a prospective boat owner why people who own a boat become so passionate about ownership and boating. His answer was quite simple...freedom.

I sat back and thought about it and it didn't take long to be in complete agreement. Instead of writing all of the reasons why I feel that way it best left to the fellow boater to think about this, smile, and become in agreement as well for they know how they feel each and every time they turn the key, head out of the slip and spend their time on the water. Freedom...it is wonderful no matter how or where you have it.
