Why am i so tall?

I'm at least 5'8 :)

My mum is 5'0 and my dad is 5'6

What happened to height being determined by genetics lol

ok well usually genetics skip 1 generation.

like my dad and uncles are very short, umm around 5'8,

but grandpa,(their dad) was 6'4, (he is old and shrunk)

and all of the grandkids are VERY tall,

my cousin is like 6'5, and his dad is 5'6.

I know the felling, my sister call me abnormally tall cause shes 4 yrs older than me and the same height! lol. when i was growing up I was always really tall, and I think I got it from my grandad. height doenst necesarily come from your parents!

Be grateful! Poor little people like me need a boost if they ever god forbid get assigned the top locker! xD

But to be serious, genetics is kind of sketchy. You may have gotten the recessive gene for height from both of your parents (only a 25% chance, you're lucky). Also, why would you want to be short! Be happy :P

genetics is not cut and dried. Think about your grandparents, aunts, and uncles. I bet they're not all short?

it depends how old you are. 5'8" is fine. Your grandparents or great grandparents may have been taller.
