Why am i stuttering?

i am 18 and leaving for college next week. today i noticed when i was talking i started stuttering. i have never done that before. i just ignored it but then throughout the whole day my sentences stuttered and i cant seem to stop it. is there something wrong or something i can do to stop.

  1. It might be caused by apprehension now that you are about to leave college. Focus on strengths not weaknesses. Focus on the exciting new life you are about to begin. Once your new life starts this will stop I feel sure. Good luck in your career wherever it takes you. UK


  2. well its probably just a fluke ( chance of situation) because your typed sentences seemed fine. probably just a faze. But if not then usually its caused by your brain being confused on what language to say. for instance if you know English and Spanish...sometimes your brain gets confused on which language its supposed to use to say a certain word. Even if all you know is English it can still be a problem because remember there are different forms of english: old English, new English, Ect. and in some rare cases having a big vocabulary can make you stutter when taking to someone who isn't really that bright.
