Why am i unable to play movies on my computer?

Question

i take movies with my camera and when i transfer them i am unable to play em

they play quickly and in like a sqeaky sound

even when i use media center

help

i have windows vista

maybe error/change the change the movie/change microsoft xp again

Ya, windows vista is dumb as heck.  I think I am gonna get a Mac pretty soon.

You should download a codec, VLC is a really good one, just search for it and then download. hope it helps u
