Why am i unable to play new chess. I'v cleared cache but it keeps telling me i have a version conflick?

Yahoo updated chess you now need the new version.But you have to remove the old one 1st.

normal clearing of cache does not remove game demos.(deleting browser history old files clearing cookies, ect)

click start button,,search,click on files/folders, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next trip to chess it will prompt you to download the new demo of yahoo's newest version of chess.

A few people are having a problem with the above method.If so use this method! : Go to; tools on your tool bar,select internet options, browser history, settings button,,view objects. Select the game; chess, then delete it. All your yahoo games demo's should be there,,spades euchre ect.

If the above fails to find chess file do this!    start,my PC, open windows folder.open downloaded programs folder. Games are listed there.
