Depends on who you are cheering for in a war, you say they are lying, somebody else might say it is fair reporting. It is human nature, news outlets can say whatever they want who is going to stop them.

If you want to get your own opinion just compare texts and pictures/video of western and russian mass media. No of those western ones talk about the prehistory of actions of Russians!

Georgians killed 1,5K of civils in the night of 8th August including 12 russian peacemakers (georgian peacemakers shut to russian ones), now this is about 2K!. Only after that Russia moved militaries to Ossetia. Georgians are beasts, they hated and discriminated Ossetians all the time, during all the history of their neighbourhood!!! Georgians mean Ossetians just like slaves! I know this - I saw that when I was in the army being together with Georgians and Ossetians!

Georgian force continues to shut and bomb again and again despite their promise of fire stoppage! Also they came to the Abkhazian border - they want to start invasion of Abkhazia just like they did the same in South Ossetia!

No of western channels are talking about that!

if you had any sense you'd realise that the media just gives you one of many versions of the truth. It depends where you live. The way you think is generally influenced by your country's media.

Do you think people in Iran all just think George Bush is a total **** because they don't like the guy personally? No, they don't like him because of the media stories they read. Just like the Americans hate Amedinejad because they think he's h**l bent on Nuclear War.
