  1. Saakashvili violated the 1992 non-agression pact.

    He attacked South Ossetia.

Russia went to defend its citisens in South Ossetia.

Geogrians had dozens of victims. South Ossetians had thousands.

Georgians WIPED OUT the South Ossetian capital.

Russia managed to throw the Georgians out of South Ossetia.

Now it's all over , and Russian peacekeepers are still on the border of South Ossetia , watching out and making sure the Georgians don't recommence the aggression.

  2. Dude..That question has been asked way to much..Look around for the same question from someone else..

  3. people people south ossetia is INSIDE georgia so is abkhazia if georgia wasnt a civil war let them have civil war its their country! russia is too scared that georgia might get into NATO russia doesnt want that, country little as georgia would not want to sratr a war country big as russia commen sence  russia bombed 3 of georgian villages and georgians did not respond in the biggining but then they bombed the 4th village thats when georgians responded with attackkkkk,.

  4. South Ossetians attacked Georgian forces. Georgia attacked South Ossetians - who in some cases have had Russian passport since mid 1990s - and Russia attacked Georgia.

The Associated Press, who visited the South Ossetian capital on Monday the 11th of August, didnt find evidence to support Russian claim of a "wiped out city", but reported heavy damage around govermental centre and broken windows in residential areas. The Georgian government has appealed to ICJ to investicate the possible violations in the region and to clear their name from Russian accusations.

According to international law "peacekeeper" cannot have a side on the crisis therefore Russian military forces cannot anymore be called as such. Instead the usage of peacekeepers on one side of a conflict is a blatant violation of international law.
