becuase they dialate in different light. like when the light is brighter they get smaller i think and when its darker the get bigger. im not sure why but its really creepy if you go in the bathroom and look in the mirror and turn the lights on, then turn the brightest one off and you can see em change

There is not 1 reason why the size of the pupil in eye changes.

1. To control amount of light entering the eye.

2.  To increase depth of focus in uncorrected refractive errors

3. To view near objects/letters clearly while reading. (Near synkinesis)

4. To reduce stiles-crawford effect.

5. To reduce aberration caused by the optical system of the eye.

the puppils get bigger at night because theres not much light for your eyes so you cant really see in daylight there smaller so you can see and its easy

The size of the pupil is determined by the amount of light entering the eye. If it is dark the pupil gets larger so more light enters the eye, and if it is bright then the pupil gets smaller to reduce the amount of light entering the eye.

The size of the pupil is controlled by muscles in the iris, which is the colored part of your eye.

The pupils of your eyes are actually tiny holes that let in light to your eyes so you can see. If too much light gets into your eyes it can damage them, so if there is a lot of light your pupils get smaller to let in less of it, and if there is very little light your pupils get larger to let in more light so you can see. It is like when you go to the eye doctor and get drops in your eyes to dialate them, your pupils will not get smaller, so you have to wear those plastic sunglasses so as to not let too much light into your pupils.
