Why and how do you get jury duty?

I believe you stand a good chance at being selected if you are a land owner, and a registered voter.

if you are arrested for something, tried, and get off you either have to go to jury duty or an insane asylum. there is one other one but i forget it.

if you want to get on jury duty commit a crime but not a crazy one.

you don't get paid great, but it is basically one big orgy (at least mine was... this one chick let me do some pretty weird stuff with her and her friend was decent but not as wild).

If you have a drivers license in some places you are on the list. Alot of other places get you by your voters card registration. Why? It is our civic duty to serve is why.

Most states pull jury pools from voter registration logs.  The key to being on a jury is being available and not eliminated during voir dire.  That's the process used to determine if any juror is biased and/or cannot deal with the issues fairly, or if there is cause not to allow a juror to serve.
