Why are 7up cans in the UK made of steel.

Why are 7up cans in the UK made of steel? Most other drink are in aluminum cans. Since I was a kid I noticed this but I thought over time for environmental reasons this would have changed.

Brits like to do things that bother other people.  They probably figured it would bother you for many years if they kept it up, so they did.
