Why are Academy award Oscars getting so ridiculous!!!?

Question

The most boring movies with the worst acting are many times winning Oscars,,,,the movie "no country for old men" is a good example.

The story line and directing were terrible and they give the Oscar to a guy who did nothing but stare with no emotion in all his scenes, wow!,, what a range of talent that was. h**l, a crash dummy could have been more entertaining.

To think Hollywood thought this was such a great movie and worthy of a best actor award is a joke.

   So much of what's being CHURNED out lately by Hollywood companies is enough to turn my stomach, and yes they do vote their own. It's essentially a CLUB, and many get their turn, though the defining characteristics of the term ACTING, as it applies to entertainment have been seriously degraded by more factors than there are "Band-aids"

   I actually hope I live so long as to see Tumbleweed blowing through the LA streets, and anything viewed goes directly to DVD, or the trash bin.

   I don't have the link available at the moment, but just last week STATS were released offering a top 10??? Of Actors who actually Produced, and TOOK the least percentage, or rather made the largest percentages versus dollars in salaries for the production companies. I do recall Vince Vaughn was at the TOP, with the highest return for dollars spent. Certainly he may have been paid one of the lower salaries per film as well. Mr. Cruise was in the MOST expensive 3, with regard to return on cost.

   Actually I stopped going the "Theaters" because it burned me to pay nearly a mortgage payment for Popcorn,

JUJUBE-s and a Soda.

   I'm certain the new Bat Yawn will skew all the figures available.

They vote for their own.

I, actually, enjoyed that film. I must say that I agree with the first comment.
