  1. the media, because of statistics and the jail time a lot of them do. also, because some can give you a nasty look to make you want to get away from them.

  2. I'm not racist, but they DO cause more crime than any other group.

There are way more black male criminals than any other group, it's just a fact.

Waiting for thumbs down from PC liberals...

  3. Because sometimes the way a select few dress and act is very intimidating and on average they are a violent race.

This is just a statistic, 80% of criminals in jail are black. And 90% of all blacks murdered are murdered by other blacks. I heard that on a talk show, I guess people are afraid they will lash out. I wouldn't group them all like that though, since I have met some of the most gentle, caring African Americans. All humans have a violent side though.

  4. the media, stereotypes, lack of knowledge and lack interaction with African Americans.

  5. good question but when i went to florida i was told "were not being racist but dont talk to black people they will rob you" so i guess they rob people alot

  6. This is a racial question and it deserves a racial answer. Read the local paper each day. How many gun crimes are commited by black men? I live in Oakland, CA. About 75% of gun crimes here are committed by about 9% of the population. Actually, black males are more like 4% of the population yet commit up to 75% of the gun crimes. Wouldn't you be afraid with these kinds of numbers? Only an idiot wouldn't fear a statistical aggressor.

  7. They're not.

  8. YOU RACIST b*****d!!! SILENCE!!! I KILL YOU!!!

  9. Are they feared?

I think it depends on where you see them, right? Give everyone a chance before you write them off.

  10. its just a certain few that give all of them a bad name

  11. I don't fear them.

I've learned to respect them just like any other race here on earth.

  12. I honestly have no problem with african americans but the most likely cause is because of the media and past events and things that happen... example... gangs in certain areas but the stupid thing is that , white people do the same thing but people make a bigger deal when its black men are involved

  13. I'm not racist, my best friend is african american. But, just to be honest, why wouldn't they be afraid? How can under 10% of the population, cause 80% of the crimes? I don't fear anyone because of race, but I do I understand why people do. But, that's a stereotype. So I would say people fear black people, that are intimidating, have bad attitudes, and dress ridiculously. Do you fear Bill Cosby because he's black? No. Do you fear Will Smith because he's black? Unless your afraid of amazing acting and kid friendly rap, No.

  14. MEDIA.

  15. because thier powerful when they get knowledge, look at mlk, he has a statue in asia and stuff

  16. MEDIA For sure...

Some of my best friends are African American and are some of the coolest folks I know. People just dont give them a chance. I don't think their feared, I think Their simply not respected.

GOD created all men Equil, Life made us disrespectful.

  17. Probably crime statistics, african americans commit much more crime per their population than do others. That is why they are overrepresented in prison populations.

  18. not all are, just a certain select few that seem to have rough unfriendly attitudes.

  19. im not afraid

  20.      I ain't skeered

  21. cause well hunt them down and eat their ****** skin

  22. Feared? I don't get it.

  23. LOL, not all of us are. People like Obama and non ghetto Blacks like Bryant Gumbel aka the "White Blacks" or "Oreos" are not feared. Someone like lets say Suge Knight, 50 Cent, T.I, Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg are feared aka "Rappers" and "Ghetto Blacks" because those are the type of people that will get violent.

Ghetto Blacks aka Ni**as (not the one that ends with the ER) are feared.

Blacks aka African Americans are not.

    See what I mean?

Type of Blacks that are not to be feared: Sports announcers, Scientists, Doctors, Teachers, and the ones in the Military (and other good service jobs)

Types of Blacks to be feared: Rappers (about 95 percent of them), gangstas, ghetto blacks and the ones that are real loud.

  24. actually white people have done more crimes through out history than every race put together so just write what that one guy said off as just plain stupid and the same goes for all the ignorant people who gave him thumbs up

  25. Media is the answer. If you're scared of a race of people, then don't go outside, simple as that.

  26. I think Because African American Men are seen as strong

    and powerful

and that's why people are so scared of them

lot's of people think the worst about them

and some people think to much of them

  27. media and most of them have guns and dont care if they end up in jail because its free food

  28. im not afraid of them, they're just people to me, i dont think a certain race is worse in crime or w/e. a very large amount of my family is african american, and there is nothing to be afraid of, they're great because of who they are as people, not because of their skin color.

  29. As some here have said it's the media and how they portray African-American males. There's plenty of positive African-American men who are doing positive things but sadly they get overlooked unless they happen to be an athlete or entertainer.

As far as crime goes, when you have a  disproportionate number of Black men out of work or in low paying dead end jobs, then of course they will seek other ways to sustain themselves. Add to that the racism that black men still face in America there's bound to be fallout from that.

For the record, whites have committed more crimes and started more wars and assassinated more people but of course that's viewed as "national security" so that makes it ok ! Heck we have a murderer in the White House now and he's not Black !

Most black males in American feel as though America has nothing to offer them simply because from an early age through adulthood, black men are told nothing but negative things regarding their intelligence, work ethic et etc !

Not many people know that the CEO of American Express is African-American or that Merrill Lynch had an African-American CEO.

Time-Warner also has an African-American Chairman of the Board but these people are never made known by the mainstream media.

There's countless other African-American males who hold prestigious positions in some of the best fortune 500 companies and yet no one knows about them unless you read Black Enterprise magazine.
