When I see documentaries on new building technologies in countries like Australia, Asia, Dubai, even other European countries, it makes me wonder why America is so far behind? Is it because no one can afford to build these new buildings, or they're too lazy to make the time in big cities where it might impact the day-to-day flow of work while it's in progress? So many other countries are putting us to shame.

  1. Because we built all of our stuff 50-100 years ago.  They are just starting to build theirs.  While we are moving out of the industrial age, they are moving into it.  So by that naturally, our stuff is going to be outdated.
