Why are American-Jewish politicians against China?

I was checking Gary Ackerman at his Wikipedia page, who is a New York jewish congressman. He has drafted a bill to blockade Iran on behalf of Israelis prime minister Olmert. But many voters are against the bill, believing it is pushing US for an act of war.

What I noticed is his picture taken with Chen Shui-bian, prominent on the page..

Since start of this year, we have witnessed American-Jewish politicians are active in leading public condemnation on China over Darfur; and active in open denunciation on China over Tibet (but no one condemning the Tibet Riot); and tirelessly in advocating a boycott of Beijing Olympic games; and energetically in supporting Taiwan’s Separation from China,

So, what are the reasons for American-Jewish politicians so actively against China?

  1. You've already asked this ques.  Why are you asking again same?

Not some conspiracy, All people should take a stand against China's crimes.

  2. Jews in general are prominent in leading human rights causes the world over - naturally on Israel they are a little less vocal but under the circumstances that can be understood. Jews were most active in leading the civil rights movement in the US in the 60ties, actively protested the Vietnam war and were active against all acts of Genocide. The fact that you point out their Jewishness is just an indication of the disproportional participation of US Jews in the political process - there are plenty of others who rightfully protest China's behavior on Darfur (China isn't the only culprit but definitely has the biggest leverage). To compare China's decades long forceful occupation in Tibet with  the Tibet riot is a little far fetched. China, but not only China, have a lot to improve upon and not only Jews should do the talking and be active in protesting.

  3. I am not an American, neither a Jew but I am personally against China's human rights violation and aggression. They are just too greedy... as simple as that.

  4. Beijing 2008 Olympic Opening Ceremony has been leaked.
