Why are American people politically complacent ?

We have a system where the will of the people is bypassed

special interest and PACs rule the roost

A vote or position can be bought for as little as 6k by a PAC

What went wrong ?

Yes, this is very sad. Most Americans are too busy figuring out what the press is doing to pull the wool over their eyes. Most are ignorance and lazy. Others just can't figure out the bull c**p from reality. Others have no ideas what they want from their representative let alone a President. Others still are stupid and haven't read history and just have no idea what this country or they stand for, so they don't vote.
