  1. because

1.the media is the major source of information about the world beyond our immediate lives.  We depend upon it to know how the world works.

    2. since the 1920s there has developed a powerful industry the PR industry which uses and develops a range of skills -

    3. firstly the skill of research methodology ( especially focus groups) to access our anxieties and desires ,

    4. then symbol manipulators who attach those anxieties/ desires to the messages they want to deliver in such a way as  to  commit us to their policies/politicians

    5. media journalists who can keep presenting/editing various stories that contain these influential messages

    6. political spinners who are now openly employed by politicians  to control 2-5 and to be the pollies major links to the media and thus to us

    7. a media that needs to cut its costs to remain profitable and so replaces solid journalism with these PR 'stories'

ps there still are some good journalists around but they are not in the majority any more

  2. Because control of the media is complete?

And consulting alternative media feels like letting go of the rope - it's as-if insanity, believing that nothing is as it seems.

  3. many cannot afford higher education so their ability to analyze for themselves is rather low. More important, the freemasonic media machine runs 24 hours non stop, that's how they got every German supporting the n***s back then. It is the same now. They practically run over people through the media, in addition to lending money that does not exist and secret societies like the skull n bones.

  4. The younger they are, the more this is true.

Because they have no history of seeing this c**p promised on TV, then seeing just the opposite happen in practice.

The frustrating thing is seeing this happen over, and over, and over....

  5. It has come to the point that people want to think if it is on television it is true.

People don't realize that the media say whatever they want whether it is true or not.

I think it is quite sad if you think about what people in general will believe just because it was said in the news or something.

  6. Who says we are easily programmed? Everyone knows that the government works against the middle class for the benefit of the rich and poor.

  7. most people are busy working and doing stuff so when they hear/watch/read the news they dont really dubble check it and just accept it as so.

  8. Because people have things to sell and the media is so readily available to us.

  9. because they are believers of literature

  10. Shut Up
