  1. No offense to Americans but they are ignorant!!

so most are probly not aware how extreme there

dark history was with the vets oh well either that or they have moved on but i think it'd even to this day still be dangerous wondering into any of those countries especially if you are white or American!!

  2. Because the war is over and Vietnam has some great beaches and there is no reason not to enjoy them.

  3. Your Q is as funny as...Why more and more Vietnamese nowadays move to USA to live, to work and to study there, after Americans killed thousands of Vietnamese?

  4. Someday we will be vacationing in Iraq. It is full of culture and has beautiful oil fields.

  5. Well, considering over 5.1 million people died in the Vietnam war, and only 58,000 of them where Americans (who were sticking their nose where they had no business), American Tourists are lucky the Vietnamese let them surf in Danang.  http://answers.google.com/answers/thread...

And, since we dumped all that Agent orange over there, which has  been doing this:  http://www.snopes.com/photos/medical/ora...

to their children, American surfers should be grateful that they aren't shot on sight in the water.

But the Vietnamese are lovely, very forgiving people.  Most of them (70%) were born after the war ended.  They run low on old people because American's weapons and "expert advice" killed 5 million of them on both sides.

I've read some of your other questions, and they're all like this.  You seem to be some sort of a bag that ladies wash their genitals with, if you get my drift.

I would be willing to bet that you don't have a passport, and have never been anywhere except Whitebread USA?  Am I right or what?

  6. Why are Americans going to Japan, Germany and Russia after WWII and the Cold War? Because countries and the politics that govern them change. The same goes for Vietnam. The war has been over for over 30 years, and the Vietnamese are welcoming the entire world with open arms, Americans included. They've moved on - so should Americans.

  7. um... why are American tourists going over to Britain after the American Revolution? Or Germany after WWII?

I'll have you know I just came back from making sandcastles in Iraq. You got a problem with that?

  8. Swings and roundabouts - lots of Vietnamese moved to the USA, lots of Americans work and holiday in places like Vietnam.

Most people don't bear a grudge, especially another generation, which most of them probably are.

I'm from the UK, have holidayed in Germany, France, Spain, Scandinavia and the USA - all of whom have had some kind of invasion/war with the UK over the years.  Do I bear a grudge?  No.  It's history.

You get thousands and thousands of Japanese tourists over in the USA and UK every year.  They're holidaying - it's as simple as that.

Travel broadens the mind and the more you travel and the better the times you have in the countries you travel to, the less likely you are to feel animosity towards the people of those countries.

    I think that's a good thing, don't you?
