Kent State. Remember? Our own police killed our children. Why do we allow our police to brutalize our fellow citizens? What happened to the Spirit of 1776?

  1. I think it will take one more good natural disaster to start a change in Government....all empires come to a end at some time....our bank accounts are going dry ..and the credit card cops are on our tail..Its pretty bad when "the most powerful country in the world's"dollar doesn't buy you c**p in a different country anymore.Thanx George

  2. Dood, whatever are you talking about?

  3. Citizens have been made complacent by our consumer culture. As long as Mr and Ms average American can still drive their Ford Escape to Walmart and buy Ball Park franks for a few bucks and then come home and watch a few hours of TV, they remain content.

I know it's a grotesque generalization, but it's basically true. As long as peoples basic needs are met, regardless of the cost, they will be comfortable. And when people are comfortable, they are not motivated to propose change in the system.

  4. It left when bush took power......Now the whole world hates americans not just the americans....

  5. Kent State was a long time ago. The kids there were in the right protesting for something they believed in. One overzealous National Guardsman panicked and fired his weapon and it went from there. You can give 1000's of examples of government excesses or mistakes, but in the long run America has the best protection of our rights of our citizens then any other country in the world.

  6. The Americans you're talking about are still fairly well off, materially speaking.

Comfortable people don't tend to start riots.  And they can be remarkably tolerant of injustices that do not affect them personally.

I'm not saying the world would be better off if they did.

  7. About the most hippocritical statement I've seen in a while.

Let's end violence with more violence, that makes perfect sense.

And Kent State was a tradegy don't use those students lives as fuel for a fire in efforts of another forceful campaign.

  8. When you live in a country where only outlaws and law enforcement have weapons, what are you supposed to do? Do I need to feel guilty about not making myself a victim?

  9. I want a revolution!

  10. I agree / the cops are out of control.  I believe citizens must organize and try to map out the strategy needed to change.

We need tougher laws for cops when they abuse citizens.  They should be fired on first offense and face jail time / financial penalties.

Have you seen some of the videos on UTUBE ?   Search police brutality police abuse

How do we organize ?   I have 33 people interested in the midwest.   Where are you located ?  How many people do you have interested / what are you resources / capabiilties ?

Maybe we can work via teleconferencing call together ?  Email slides , ideas , action plans ?

  11. Its not that we allow it...things happen and we know not until they have already happened.  Stop the violence.

  12. You have no clue.  The police did not kill anyone at Kent State.  That was the National Guard you idiot.  I just think it's great that people like you make statements without actually taking the time to check your facts.

    Moronic, truly moronic.

  13. Kent State happened 40 years ago. Their not your children, neither are they Americas Children. Also you Liberals are against war, so why would you start revolution and you guys would lose, Christians would win, then there would be a theocracy, would you like that? I would, but I doubt you would.

  14. Maybe because what we see on the short little film clips, and what actually happened, are different things...  Why did that guy keep his hands in front of his chest and not let the cop handcuff him?  The officer then raised the level of force being used to gain compliance of the suspect being taken into custody ( a few pops on the head).

The next time a cop arrests you, don't resist.  let him have your hands to be cuffed.  Or the officer can raise the level of force until you comply with the officer's demands.

Kent State in Ohio was Army National Guard, not police.

  15. the spirit of 1776 has been gone for a long time now. its no longer about hard work freedom truth justice....its about keep me occupied and have the government take care of me and my children.

  16. Police brutality must not be tolerated because it will encourage abuses against citizens particularly children.
