  1. You may be counting your personal situation as a measure of your country, congratulations on your success

While you may have enjoyed success, the country has been falling around you, and America has disgraced itself around the world

  2. The vast majority of Americans have never visited a third world country and have no idea how good we actually have it here.

My advice to all the whiners:  Go visit the barrio in Mexico City and then come back here and tell me how much the U.S. sucks.

  3. Well I'll be honest, I'm only 13 and I live in Australia, but even I can see Bush has done a great job (I'm a bit of a political person lol, I'm aiming to be the first woman president lol!). It amazes me the amount of people that whine and complain about the "terrible" job that Bush has done, just because he has done things that people don't agree with.

I would like to see the whingers as president, he leads the most powerful country in the world, he is bound to make mistakes, he can't possibly make all 380 million of you happy. Many people started to dislike him when America, Australia and Britain invaded Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries.

People protest over matters they know nothing about, and complain about fuel prices etc. (No offence, but we are paying $7.50 a gallon so your not really that bad off). The Middle Eastern oil suppliers are probably laughing as Western countries pay rip off prices for oil. Yet if people disliked him so much, than why has he being president for eight years?

I guess the main reason people despise him is the fact that he is pressing on with the Iraq war, but I bet if you asked any of the many Anti War protesters what they are doing in Iraq, they probably couldn't answer you.

And to the person above me who said "America has disgraced themselves all over the world" then you really don't know what other people think. I'm personally very proud to have allies like America.

Anyway that is just some of the reasons.

  4. Just from an average American's standpoint, I feel we were better under Clinton that Bush, even though I hated everything about Clinton's presidency.  The facts are in the base costs.  Fuel, food, and utilities were closer inline with average pay under the Clinton administration and thus I could afford to do many of the things I enjoy, like fishing and going to MLB games.  Now under the current administration, costs have shewed greatly above the average pay for most Americans.  Gas alone keeps me from doing things that I enjoy.  Thats what it comes down to, enjoyment.  Man should not be a drone that works 60 hours a week just to get by.  Thats the kind of stuff that leads to suicide or killing everyone you work with.

  5. If you really think that than you have serious problems you should deal with.

Under Clinton : The economy was great. The world didn't hate the US. There was not 2 wars unfinished at the same time. USA was prosperous.

Under Bush : Economy is crumbling. High % of people loses their homes. Afghanistan is a mess. Iraq is a total mess. Threatening war with Iran on top of that. The world hates the US. Guantanamo. Torture.

Really... how can you SERIOUSLY think that it is better under Bush than Clinton?!

  6. Tell that to the millions of people who are losing their jobs and homes, or the tens of thousands of American families who have had a family member killed or disabled in Bush's war of aggression in Iraq. Tell it to the people who lsot loved ones in New Orleans because Bush's political pal didn't even know there were people trapped there when it was on the network news. Tel it to the people pumping their retirmet savigs into their gas tanks.

The onkly people who have benefitted from Bush's tenure are crooks and ripoff artists. Not decent citizens or honest businesses.

  7. Do you need your brain swapped?

A unjust war, a comatose economy, an increase in anti-Americanism...we never had any of that under Clinton.

  8. All depends what side of the fence you're on:  if you are upper class and have it, then yes, you are better off.  If you are a retiree then suddenly you got to scrunch by to make your money last....so, it really depends on what side of the fence you're at...

  9. It depends on who you ask.

All Americans are not complaining.  It could do with the fact that gas has more than tripled in price, foreclosures like never before, and oh yeah, that pesky little war  in Iraq, and Afghanistan, killing over 4,000 men and women, and disabling over 20,000.

Americans are so crazy and moan and complain we do, oh  maybe too because  the infrastructure, falls apart literally, (bridge collapse in Minnesota) .     They have no right to be mad that their kids don't have enough books in schools, or that the few that have managed to pass the basic skills testing, still can't  read.

Oh yes,  Americans are complaining, I may be one of the loudest.  I think it would be a real awakening if the prez and everyone else who voted for that invasion took a full minute to reflect on each and every life  gone, ( including all the hundreds of contractors whose lives have been lost,.)  In that one minute think of the wives,  husbands, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends, sons, lost, and their families.

I would say more but being the American complainer that I am I better be quiet, before they come and take me to F*&^%$# GITMO. and torture me, you know the kind, the against the Geneva Convention kind, the new Bush tortue is a good law.

All this would not even be if we required his **** passed some BASIC SKILLS TESTING. cause fool me twice shame on you  and if you fool me again I'm a shame to you, or whatever that JOKER said.

In the last 8 years that you felt so better off did you serve your country?  Did you sleep in the desert in a tent with boots on and no a/c,  drinking million dollar bacteria  infested polluted Haliburton water did ja?  Did your brain having been in so many roadside bombs,  get like shaken baby syndrome?    Yeah. I figured it, life is good for you, "I rather you just said thank you"     A Few Good Men
