  1. Angiosperms attract animals mainly insects to promote cross fertilisation with the help of pollen transfer through the medium of other animals. There are several animal mediated pollen transfer mechanisms like 1)Entomophily(insects), 2)Mallacophily(molluscs), 3)Chiropterophily(bats), 4)Ornithophily(birds) etc.

           Hence the plant parts mainly flowers take attractive shapes and colours and in some cases secrete nectar to attract the animals.
