  1. I'm sure glad my parents didn't name me May, since that's the month I was born in. Still, I avoided using the name June for my younger daughter even though her birthday is in June.

  2. I don't get it

  3. I m not sure honestly. I've met an August before, but her parents were hippies; they named their second child Ocean Sunrise (poor kid.) That name always makes me laugh a little.

  4. Well, some women are named Augusta, the feminine of Augustus (whom August was named after) though it is not a very common name nowadays.  It was popular in the Victorian era though.

I don't really know.  Why not call them after other months?  I'd never thought of it before.

  5. Dunno....I know a guy named Monday.  Who would name their kid Monday?

  6. Haha. Have a good fourth Mr. Ryde.

  7. "The Secret Life of Bees" had a character named August. Another one considered renaming herself October.

  8. There are lots of women named August, it's not just a mans name (mans name is actually Augusto)

  9. And one December, thank you very much.

Hey, do you have friends with heavy boots in New Jersey who'd like to make a quick buck?

  10. I bet you never heard of Febtober did ya, Trebek?

  11. I know a woman named December. My brother's name is August, but he is a boy. We call him Gus.

  12. Not really sure.

I've met several girls named August when I did some modeling and one named November Rain something or other but other than that no other months.

  13. I've heard women being called August, December. Don't get the February joke.

  14. I went to school with a Summer and an Autumn, both girls.
