  1. Because many Armenians have olive complexions, and dark hair appears to be thicker on darker skinned Caucasians, as in the Italians & Greeks as well, than blond hair appears to be on more fair-skinned people!

  2. well you seee.

    white people have pasty skin.

    and oooobviously

    hair stick to paste

    so why not pasty skin?

  3. Their original enviroment Tended to be very cold at times.  Because of this they develop more body hair so they cound defend from the cold as well as wind. It hotter times, it protected them from losing moisture. Plus if you have muscle you tend to not be hairy.

  4. Well, its not just Armenians (and definitely NOT ALL Armenians).. other "hairy" groups, include Iranians, Azeris, Turks, Georgians, and other Caucasus people. The reason? My theory is that all people developed defenses against their environment. The closer to the equator, the darker the ethnic group, the farther from the sun, the lighter the skin, and also the eyes and hair. The Caucasus is a cold place, with a rugged environment. The people of that region, developed excessive body hair to protect themselves from the harsh environment/climate.
