Why are BIG Corporations trying to DESTROY Internet Freedom?

Big phone and cable companies like Comcast and Verizon want to tell the public when to stop and go on the Internet. But our online movements shouldn't be controlled by gatekeepers.

Because the issue is more complex than you think.

Those same 'big corporations' can be sued for illegal or offensive Internet traffic that passes over the equipment they own.  

Another thing to remember is that you are using their property.  As the owners of that property they have the right to determine what are acceptable conditions for its use.

If you don't like it - why don't you shell out the millions of dollars and make your own private Internet gateways?

Apparently you want 'freedom' to trample on the property rights of others.
