Why are BT so hopeless?

Just spent half hour in a phone queue and they were totally unhelpful. My grandmother has gone into a home, I am her power of attouney and they wouldn't let me cut her phone line off????? What????!!!! They are one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, and believe me this is far from the first time we have had problems with them!!! Thanks for listening....moan over now!!

i'l moan with you about bt, cos there customer services stinks, i have so many probs with them, they just dont seem to comprehend what you are trying to tell them! aarrgghhhhh

I had nothing but problems with BT for 5 months but everything was sorted within 2 days when I said I had reported them to Watchdog, maybe you could give this a try?  Hope this helps

Learn how to complain properly.  Call centres are often not the way to get yourself noticed.  Write a letter...f*ck that, write ten letters...to the same person, on the same day.  Then they get the message.  Remain calm when complaining though (if doing so over the phone, in a letter just express yourself in the mighty words of Charles Wrights!!!) .  Search google for 'how to complain to BT'.  Peace.

I have found them OK when I had bother but I contacted them on line.

Just tell them you want be paying for the phone or line and I bet they will be round to disconnect it like a shot.

When you phone them it`s usually put through to some place like an Indian call centre and sometimes you have to be firm with them but polite at the same time. Grrrrrrrr!
