I feel sorry for Cubs fans. They are all getting their hopes WAYYYY up and they are only going to be heartbroken. They should just expect to lose and then if the Cubs win, it will be extra exciting. I have family that are Cubs fans and I just hate to see them so excited now, knowing that they will be down in the dumps in October.

  2. Ok i will wats ur #??

  3. what do you have to gain from it chisox fan?

  4. 100 years without a world series.

  5. Do you REALLY feel sorry for Cub fans?

  6. They said the same thing in Boston. No way can they come back from 3 games down to the Yankees,no way can they beat a team that has won 10 World Series'.Now they are considered a winning franchise.

  7. They listen to the national media hype and actually believe the Cubs are something special. They will win the Division again this year and go 3 and out again against the Diamondbacks.

  8. I agree wholeheartedly. It's the same thing year after year.

  9. Who knows even if they make the playoffs the brewers will knock them out

    GO BREWERS!!!!!

  10. Ohhh..... I dont't know.... maybe it has something to do with

THEY HAVE THE BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL!!!!!

And they look head and shoulders above and better than every single team they play. Last night they had a guy batting in the 8th spot (Mark Derosa) that has the numbers of a #3 hitter. They have 3 legitimate #1 pitching starters, and the best catcher in the national league maybe in all of baseball. All that without even having to mention Ramirez, Lee, Theriot, and Soriano.

    Any questions?

PS- Don't forget their deep bullpen that includes Marmol, Samarja, and Wood

  11. CHISOX, worry about your own team.  Make the playoffs first.

DON'T LOSE TO TEAM THAT HAS 1/2 OF YOUR PAYROLL.

  12. No need to feel sorry for us.  We are mlb's best team with a record of 84-50.  Maybe we should feel sorry for you, struggling to stay ahead of the crappy twins.

  13. I agree with you when you said until they win a WS, I don't think Cub fans can say awhole lot.  Cubs are good but without a title, they are just another good team

  14. if the roles were reversed and the White Sox had the best record in baseball and the Cubs were holding on to small lead, would you still be getting your hopes up?  Would you be getting excited?

What would you think if a Cubs fan said 'don't get so excited, the lower you are, the lower you'd fall'.

Frankly, this could be perceived as friendly advice if you were anything but a White Sox fan, but I don't think your sorrow is genuine.

(I can't believe in a city that's lucky enough to have two teams, that you can love one and hate another, seems so petty)

  15. 100 years without a world series it would be cool to win it on the 100 years.

  16. We get our hopes up because we have a great team.  Our team is playing great and we're fans, doesn't that give us the right to get excited for our team.  I'm guessing you never get excited about the White Sox.  One more thing, the 2008 Cubs are not the 2001 Mariners and each year is a new year, so what does that have to do with anything.

  17. Go out and buy a newspaper, open it up to the sports section, and read today's headlines. I doubt if you can find any referral's to a team from 15 years ago, that lost in the playoffs. It's todays news. Enjoy today, tomorrow will have it's own issues.

Why is somebody's happiness bringing you down so?
