Most sources indicate that having photo voter ids at the ballet will help reduce voter election fraud.

This report is a local one, but I'm not sure why it wouldn't be applicable nationally.

Democrats wanted voter id in their early primaries indicating that they think it'll help reduce fraud. Democrat voters seem to want it to so their vote isn't canceled illegally.

Certainly voting for our elected officials and leaders is more important than, driving a car, buying liqueur, checking out books, and other actions. Most programs include providing ids to people who can't afford it. How does this "disenfranchise" voters any more than illegal votes disenfranchise legit voters?

  1. Because it makes sense.

It's all the stuff that doesnt make sense that Dems support.

  2. It's a slippery slope towards civil rights violations.  Next we will have to carry our IDs for everything like in Russia.

  3. it stops cheating...of course they are against that

  4. You answered your own question, because it would reduce voter fraud ( a widely used Democratic tactic)

    To John,

Please tell us how requiring people to prove they are who they say they are when voting violates ANY conceivable civil right?

  5. Democrats tend to be pro pricacy rights.  Somehow, somewhere, the concept of right to privacy was invented.  There is no constitutional right to privacy.

  6. the dems feel that showing an id to prove who you are will dis-enfranchise some low income people.  these people typically vote democratic, so the dont want to do anything that might keep some of thier voters away.  doesnt matter if its good for the country or not, its all about getting votes.
