  1. They should but they are not b/c she is conservative. They should be looking to Obama for an explanation on why he didn't choose HRC. He ended up choosing an insider who has been in congress LONGER than McCain.

She will never win the strict abortion-rights people, but all woman are not for killing babies. She will do well in the rust belt where the folks are pro-gun and pro-life. That's one reason why Obama chose Biden, to get the blue-collar workers. Well McCain just rained on his parade b/c she used to be a union member and her hubby is one.

  2. I find amazing how fast all the over inflated hype over the spectacle of

the barackopolis has tanked after the Sarah Palin choice!

  3.   I have little doubt after reading the hundreds of answers and questions, the reason.  These are clinton supporters, who didn't see their MISS Hillary get the nod from Obama ( in fact he made her l**k his feet ) and their FURIOUS that McCain is demonstrating a brilliant move by balancing his platform with a woman.  Simple......sour grapes.   And everybodys right.  Palin is NOT Hillary, but also thank the fates, Palin doesn't carry HALF the bad garbage that Hillary did.

Their miss "chosen" one embarrassed and humiliated them and NOW their taking it out on Palin.  Does that strike anybody else as nothing less than PATHETIC.

  4. We aren't angry.  We just find it funny that she agreed to be McCain's little pander to the female vote.

  5. Because she is actually middle class family.

They only want candidates who can relate to the middle class, not actually someone who is middle class.

  6. it really bothers me when people see the opposition of mccain's choice of a running mate as a "woman's issue."  it has nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman, except perhaps that it appears to be an attempt to attract the votes of dissappointed hillary clinton supporters.

while it is exciting to think that a woman could be vice president in the near future, anyone with critical thinking skills can clearly see that mccain's choice of vp was politically driven rather than taking the well being of all 304 million of us into account if, heaven forbid, the vp would be needed to become our commander in cheif.  this choice looks very desperate, forced and shallow on the republicans' part, which really diminishes their credibility in my book.

  7. No, quite the opposite actually.  Palin just insured that Obama will win.  Not any woman is fit to be V Prez.  This woman does not give a F about womens rights,

  8. Because Senator McCain has set a trap and they have bitten into it.

Governor Palin already has more foreign negotiation experience than the top of the Democrat ticket.  She has already had to deal with both Canada and Russia over trade, security, transportation, oil, fishing, and other issues.

Alaska also borders no state, but borders Canada to the East, and is about four miles by sea to Russian territory.  Kind of like running a small country.

their anger at Senator McCain's pick shows how pro-choice they really are.

  9. Well, most of them are pretty ignorant, and determined to remain ignorant. If they bothered to do some unbiased research they would certainly see that Palin is what they wish Obama was.

Those that are not ignorant, but simply socialist, and unable to recognize the USA was never meant to be socialist, probably see her as a huge threat to their plans to push Obama into the White House.

  10. They are whining because she is better qualified than Obama or McCain.

    Democrats offer welfare

    Republicans offer warfare

    Democrats offer higher taxes

    Republicans offer deficit spending

Libertarians offer none of the above

  11. She is going to appeal more to the older white women who did not vote for Obama over Clinton

  12. We are grinning from ear to ear...and who cares if a woman could be VP if they don't even know what a VP does.

By the way, executive experience means nothing as far as being the Vice President is concerned. Anyone who says this has not a single clue what the Vice President does.

  13. "You wish."

  14. The Obamabots are angry that their treatment of Hillary and her supporters is coming back to bite 'em!

  15. I'm not angry; I just don't appreciate the obvious pandering.  If a person voted for Hillary Clinton, it does not translate to Sarah Palin.  No Way, No How, No McCain/Palin.  It's all about the ISSUES not the gender.

  16. Angry? You're d*mn right. Having the potential to become the leader of free world, one better have the credentials.

Palin not only lacks the experience, she lacks the EDUCATION!! Palin attended a 3RD TIER university (idaho) where she only minored in political science then went on to what?? FISHING!!

Meanwhile, Senator Obama (illinois) studied at Occidental going onto to a TIER 1 school, Columbia University, MAJORING in political science. After working at various organizations in LARGE cities like New York and Chicago like: Business International Corporation, New York Public Interest Research Group, then DIRECTOR of the Developing Communities Project, he went on to study at HARVARD LAW SCHOOL, again Tier 1, where he was elected PRESIDENT of the LAW REVIEW and got his Law degree.

After becoming a Lawyer, he was so sought after that he was offered a fellowship to write a book and was offered a teaching position at yet another Tier 1 school, University of Chicago where he taught CONSTITUTIONAL LAW for 12 years.

He became became the founding executive director of Public Allies Chicago. He served on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago and served on the board of directors of The Joyce Foundation, Chicago Annenberg Challenge, the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Center for Neighborhood Technology, and the Lugenia Burns Hope Center.

Then he was elected to the Illinois Senate...then became a U.S. Senator.

While Ms. Palin was out fishing not pursuing an education further relevant to politics, history, and the constitution, and winning beauty pageants, Senator Obama was out with the big boys doing grown folks business that matter to the world.

I certainly don't want an ill educated women with a 3rd rate education making quite possibly some of the world's most important decisions that will affect the world. Her Cinderella story was made possible by the lower bell curve that is Alaska when she wouldn't have even made it to the school board in places like Chicago. Her inability to compete for entry into a higher level college indicates she was not good enough then and she's certainly not good enough now.

John McCain's decision was grossly negligent and seriously irresponsible. He questioned Obama's experience even though the man's education and resume run longer than my arms. Palin, with her lack of experience, still calls on her high school years as a point guard to pad her resume because she has no "real" experience to speak of.

This reminds me of Al Bundy, the washed up "semi celebrity" from Married With Children whose only legacy was making 4 touchdowns in one game at POLK HIGH SCHOOL.

Obama's participation as either a member of the board or Director in just one of his many, many large organizations held more weight than Palin as mayor of a town whose population is close to 5,000 or her tenure as governor of a state (Alaska) with a population of 670,000. The mayor of Fresno, California (pop. 600,000) might as well have more political influence.

Alaska and all of its problems on its worst day cannot even begin to touch the concerns of the entire world. I know a lot about my little world where I live - does that make me qualified to be VP too? HEY!! I've taken 24 units in computer science classes. I should be head of IT at Google.. Don't you think?

Her life experience does not reflect the people nor does it prepare her for the most difficult job in the world, which is the presidency. When one chooses his running mate, the VP must be able to function as president should he die.

While both Obama and Palin have no military background, Obama has a legal background. Approximately 25 of the 43 presidents in our history were lawyers. Why? BECAUSE YOU NEED TO KNOW THE LAW IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THIS GREAT COUNTRY AND HOW IT CAME TO BE. As President, one holds the ability to pardon -- how can a president make sound judgments if ill educated? AND, how about INTERNATIONAL LAW? This is very important for foreign relations. What does she know? This makes Palin unqualified. She'd have to read the Cliff's Notes versions to catch up and how well versed would she be?

    SHE WOULDN'T!!

Palin would need to go back to school for a minimum of 4 years, then gain at least 5 more years under her belt in a real organization before I would ever consider her having enough experience to affect the rest of my life. I need a president that knows far more about the constitution, especially now, and its complexities than just the 2nd amendment. (i support gun rights too) BUT THAT'S NOT ENOUGH.

McCain questioned Obama's lack of experience and THEN selects Palin in a desperate attempt at political gain? Who is the "FLIP-FLOPPER" now?

  17. because your vote should go with some one with experience and look like they have experience which comes with age i cant see that when i look at sarah because it looks like more of a wet dream then to take her serious.

Plus i still can believe republicans picked mccain comming from a republican why didnt you vote paul in?
