Why are Democrats so angry about John McCains choice for Vice President I have never heard or seen such venom?

maybe because it screams hypocrisy McCain bashed Obama for making political moves this vp ick was purely political not for the love of the country but his desire to run it.  Why pick a person with no experience to be a heartbeat away from the presidency but then hit his opponent on his experience.  No sense.

The privately funded Democrats are running scared with a 'nice' in-experienced community activist (aka sh*t disturber) on the top of the ticket with a left-wing-nut washington insider as the co-pilot on the doomed hildenburg.

While the Republicans (good framers and media spinners) have now picked up the dropped (change&hope) baton and are going to finish first in the historical race to the White House 2008 edition.

This hare (Obama) and tortoise (McCain) race just got a little bit more interesting.  And please don't doubt or forget the power of Christian prayers, they seem to work sometimes!!!  Democrats do hate prayer.

Because they passed on Clinton and this pick greatly trumps his rock star want to be appearance in Denver.  Like it or not, a lot of the women who supported Clinton will take a good look at the GOP ticket now.  They are bitter about her treatment by Obama and the fact that she obviously was never even considered for the ticket.  Had he known that McCain was picking a female, I can assume you that Joe (the mouth) Biden would be back in Delaware and Clinton would be the DNC candidate.

I don't believe the venom that the Democrats are spewing at Palin is any worse than has been done to any other candidate running for such a high office. They'lll try to find faults and nitpick at everything until they find something that they can rip into. If she's lucky, she'll check out and they won't have anything on her. Simple as that.

I agree. The questions on Palin tonight have no political value and bring nothing to the debate. Wait until they find out she is honest, then they will really cut loose. So much money going into public education and so many drop outs.

Because they know what a great political move it was. Froze King Obie in his trax, opened up the women;'s vote, Will take a lot of the Hullary clan, and she is an expert stateswoman, and not afraid to buck the system. She burst Obammy's bubble.

Because this lady is a true American. Born in Idaho, works hard for no nonsense real change and has lots of executive experience; 1st running a small town and then Governing the largest land mass state of our Country. The only women who won't relate to her are the far left butch L*****n, hate all men type. She is the first national figure to praise both Geraldine Ferraro's accomplishment as well as Hilliary's. Hillary never expressed such gratitude to here fellow Democrat Ferraro- per Ferraro herself.

In addition, for the Obama camp to question her experience in comparison to Obama's community organizer experience would be a ridiculously poor fight to start. In addition-when Hillary ran for the Senate, she had absolutely no elected office experience whatsoever, and had accomplished nothing aside from living in the White House. Health Care reform, the one thing she attempted to initiate, failed miserably.

Besides the usual haters and crazies, I just think a lot of Democrats were caught completely off guard and frankly, do not know how to react to the situation.  After a while they will get their feet back under them and realize how hypocritical they are being.  For several decades the Feminist movement has been telling us how women can have it all.  They can be mothers, wives and CEO's.  Now we have a strong Conservative woman who manifests that and they attack her for it.

Bitterness.  Anger.  Misplaced confusion.  They want to guide all of those things directly at Obama, but cannot.  The coolaid will not let them.

They were wanting Hillary as either Pres or VP soooo bad that they see their hopes blowing up over and over.  Now they see the Reps "stealing" that dream from them.  It actually offers a very demonic pleasure as you sit back and watch them - from a distance.

I actually think it's a great choice (for Obama). It shows he's desperate for the women's vote since he doesn't care for women's right. The woman's a gov. for a state of less than 8000 people. He's a hypocrite. He claims Obama has no experience, but picks someone who governs a state of about 8000. At least Obama has Joe Biden to help him on foreign policy. All McCain has is a beautiful woman.
