Why are Democrats so angry about the Palin choice?

It was cool that Obama and Biden sent her notes wishing her well and welcoming her to the race, but then so many on here are down right mean and ugly about it. Why are Democrats so ugly about it when your party leaders are not?

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm not angry. McCain's desperation makes me smile.

The Dems are not Angry, more like grateful to McCain! He is forcing the voters of America to choose a minority. Whether it be a woman, or an minority male. So the way alot of Dems see it, he just evened the playing field. He took away the safe pick, which would have been McCain/Romney! You Repubs should be the Angry ones!

They are angry because McCain pulled a good one on them. Obama is probably trying to figure what sort of Bull Sh*t to dump on America next.

I get no sense of anger from any democrat about this choice.

It is more disbelief that he made such an obvious political move with no regard for the good of this nation.

I agree with the first answer. Mccains pick made me smile. In fact, after I post this comment, Im going to target to pick out some new drapes for Obama to put in the White House

Because Palin is hard to attack.  So now we all see what's next on the dem's playbook - they are complaining about how beautiful Palin is!

I think that the choice of Palin is an insult to women.  Her experience as governor was no doubt shortened by a maternity leave since her last baby was delivered in April? I think that she is great at what she does, being a mom,  but.... she still has no relevant experience or at best very little to be a "heartbeat" away from US leadership.  She has no legal training... she is a great PR person at best.... communications degree, runner-up in the Alaska state beauty pageant.  Forget Republican or Democrat for a minute... she is an insult.
