  1. Because she isn't.

If all they can talk about is experience and her getting her brother in law off the police force for abusive behavior towards his wife, child and probably those he was supposed to 'serve and protect', putting down her choice to have a special needs child at 44, a husband who works a job just like a regular American then November should be easy for McCain.

  2. We're not.

    Why would we be?

  3. Because it wasn't a crappy choice.  It was a crappy choice when Obama didn't pick H.Clinton as VP, and thats why they are worried!

  4. Enough women who disagree with Palin on everything might be stupid and resentful enough to vote for McCain for tokenistic motives and complete the ruin of America.

  5. I'm not worried, I'm ecstatic!

I was worried he would pick Romney. After all his talk about experience and judgement, he flip-flops and goes for the least qualified person on his list, the former mayor of Moose knuckle, Alaska, who he has only met once before.

It's like Christmas for the Democrats!

  6. Most democrats I know are rejoicing already. McCain just shot himself on the foot, and he will have serious buyer's remorse when it is proven that Palin can be miss congeniality but she does not know anything about domestic and foreign policy.

  7. Because they know it's far from a "crappy choice".  The squirming going on is so very, very entertaining.  I'm having a hoot!

  8. time will answer that question

we'll see how much of her fundy stuff the republicans are willing to admit to... bet you anything they don't put the death penalty for women seeking abortion too up front in their yalking points.

Might be a turn off to people who understand you can't prosecute thought crimes.

  9. We're not.  We understand that picking Palin did away with one of the Republican talking points about Obama's "lack of experience", and that the bump she gives to the conservative base will pretty much be equalized by alienating the moderates who might have voted for McCain because he isn't a neocon.

  10. NOT ME !!!!! I am still voting for Obama---and all of my friends are voting Obama--and even my repulican friends that have had enough of Bush Jr are voting for Obama--so I am not worried.

  11. Worried??? hahaha I'd say you mistook our smiles for worrying..

  12. I'm a dem. Not worried. Kind of happy. The "can't believe our luck" kind of happy.

  13. Because while their mouths are saying "crappy choice", their brains are thinking "Oh c**p, what a brilliant move by McCain".

  14. I think it was a great choice for the democratic ticket. Still l like to throw some mud there way.

  15. crappy choice?  what about biden?

  16. because she wont do away with the 2nd amendment as they want to.

  17. By saying "crappy choice" are you including yourself in the worried camp?

  18. What Me Worry?

  19. The whole country needs to be worried.

Should McCain win and something happens to him, we will have an ex- beauty queen/sportscaster journalist at the helm of this country.

And do you think that the good old boys of the Republican party are going to actually allow a woman to run this country?

    NOT!

Karl Rowe and d**k Cheyney will be back at the helm behind the scenes before you know it.

  20. three reasons.

    1. They are afraid that she has sealed the deal for McCain

    2. They are mad that Hillary wasn't the VP nominee and now McCain has shown them up. They wanted a Pro-Choice woman to be the first in the White House. Not Pro- Life

    3. They know Obama's GREAT SPEECH was completely taken off the board by this pick. NO One has been talking about his speech except in passing. Smart move that shows them McCain may be too much for them to compete against. Not a doddling Old fool as they wish to believe.

  21. The real reason you like her is because she is a s**t and that is the only reason.

BTW, Obama got a bounce in the polls.

  22. Because they know in their hearts they are going to get beat again come November.

    Just the plain truth.

  23. Because the Dems were out-foxed!

Choosing a female running mate was a good political chess move for the Republicans since the Democrats were roiled by Obama's choice of the biggest whitest white guy in the Dem party for V.P.

Now McCain sashay's in an pulls the carpet out of Bilary Clinton's feet with Gov. Palin as V.P., this just might garnish votes from the swing-vote Independents and undecided Democrats.

Of course McCain/Palin will just be 'figure-heads' with no real control over Congress if elected, and the party will run things behind the scenes as always done with weak presidents.

  24. This is the kiss of death to the Dems...They should have beaten McCain to the punch by nominating Hillary....but the dopes picked that old man Biden with that shredded wheat on his head he calls hair!!
