  1. darn I had a great answer and it didn't load...well to summarize.

    -Stop bashing the band-wagoners!

-Some truly great hockey fans are BORN FROM THE BANDWAGON.

All blue collar cities rally around their sports teams, Detroit (Chicago, Pittsburgh, Buffalo.....). This nothing new, these bandwagon fans are great for their cities and even better for the game of hockey.

Who cares if they're on the Bandwagon as long as they are hockey fans!

  2. Ok kid listen i have never seen u here voting for the pens i have never even seen you on here before but listen dont just say we are bandwagoners just cuz pittsburgh won last night i didnt see you post up a question about detroit and bandwagonners when detroit won 2 home games and 1 game in pittsburgh

  3. Okay look....You have no right saying that Detroit fans are bandwagoners. Everyone (at least those who love their city) will support their sports teams when they are close to winning (whether it be the Stanley Cup or whatever). They will do this even if they aren't a fan of the sport.

and just so you know I am a Pens fan.

Good luck to Detroit..may the best team win.

  4. What are you talking about bandwagoners? Detroit is part of the original 6 and basically made this sport. Hockeytown got it's name because if you haven't realized, the Wings are one of the most successful franchises of all time. What do the Penguins have that make them better than the Wings. We shut down Sid and Malkin  and we will beat you guys. You aren't anything compared to Detroit so stop whining.

  5. you are one silly person. detroit fans are some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable fans in the nhl.

  6. Wow, Now that they can't say that we're BUYING the Cup (Salary cap) with all our money, the next best thing is attacking the fans?

Get real.. You better count the number of seats in your barn and compare them to the number of seats in ours......... Perhaps you'll find your answer there.....................

  7. Oh come on. Not again. Must I repeat: WHO IS COMPLAINING RIGHT NOW? Sheesh can't we all calm down until the next game begins? Just take it easy!

If I am right the Wings have won more stanley cups....

  8. I have been a Wings fan since the 70's, I love them even when they suck (fortunately not very often).  Yeah, the Joe is sold out more often than not, which is more than Pitt can say.

  9. 2003 NHL season attendance - http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance...

    2004 NHL season attendance - http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance...

    2006 NHL season attendance - http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance...

    2007 NHL season attendance - http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance...

    2008 NHL season attendance - http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance...

Lets see if a simple Penguin fan can tell the difference between the two teams attendance through all of those years and that mighty big jump of fans from 2003 to 2008 for the Pens.

  10. I beleive you only posted this question to get a rise out of everyone. Every Question i see coming from a pens fan just keeps proving how immature the fans are and proves the team itself is even worse! Detroit has been in the playoffs how many years o god i cant even count ! I dont call them badwagoners i call them d*m* smart people lol!

  11. Why have I never seen you on here supporting the Pens before today?

    And why are you whining?

EDIT:  I never said you were a Pens fan. From reading you're other answers you're most certainly a Pens bandwagoner.

  12. Why is a whining Pens fan whining about Detroit's fans whining.

  13. The Joe has sold out for more than 15 years, unlike Pitt selling out "66" repular season and whatever playoff games.  I guess you could say Pitt is really behind there team, again alomost losing them except for a Dteroit Buisness man who helpled Mario and such. Hows that for your stinky 3 rivers? ONLY IF THEY GO ANYWHERE IN THE SEASON, oh and the addition of the crybaby Cindy!

Some of these bandwagon fans finally realized that they won a game against us, hence they are here again and look at those numbers!

Shilloutte wants to hide again, "who says I am a Pens fan"?  I see it, look at some of the other stupid q's...

  14. you got to be a pens fan you used the word whining, and that's about all I've seen out of the pens in this series and if the pens would of been in the play offs 18 out of the last 20 years and has ummm i think its 10 stanley cups that's 57 play off birth since they were est.

by the way are you friends with crosby you know the hole whining thing just wondering

  15. Whining? No, we don't whine, but you are whining right now. How come you never had the balls to show up here when Detroit beat Pittsburgh in Games 1, 2, and 4?

Shock - Got enough fuel, bro?

  16. UM...

    GO WINGS !!!!

  17. Not even gonna address the sold out thing.....its been over killed.

I guess I am a band wagoner.....I have been a fan since the mid eighties........

There are some band wagoners that get on board and never get off.......even in the years when their club was not performing at a high level.

  18. Bandwagon fan? you look like one yourself.

  19. Considering that this is a questions forum, I assume you actually want an answer. You should clarify by not involving all Detroit fans as bandwagoners, that is just an ignorant statement. I've been cheering for them because they are my home team since I was a kid, and I still cheer for the Lions as well. As for the fans that are bandwagoners, they like Detroit for the only reason bandwagoners like any team. They win. You really should look at Pittsburgh for a bandwagon target. Sidney Crosby collects fans like Jordan did in the NBA, Earnhardt did in NASCAR, and Tiger does in golf. I would bet that their bandwagon concentration is way higher, especially when you consider that Lemieux was fighting just to keep the Pens in Pittsburgh before Bettman's Goldenboy showed up.

PS. 15 seasons of sellouts should cover your other remark.

  20. Yeah, and this is supposed to make Pens fans look better?

  21. <------gathers some Napalm and letter L's to slap on foreheads

this way i can roast your Stupidity

  22. All i have to say is GO PITTSBURGH!!!!
