    T-man       Treasury agent

    fibbie         FBI agent  (I dunno y - less respect?  

                                           Trying to de-fuse fear?

  2. "G" is for Government.  Sorta like GI being short for "Government Issue"

  3. It goes way back to the twenties, when FBI agents or anyone who worked for the federal government was known as a G man.
