Why are FILIPINOS look different?

why do they they have Spanish surnames and most of them look latinos ?

unlike other asians that fit to be called asians like china,indonesia,japan who don't have caucasian features?

  1. The Philippines have Spanish surnames because  a few hundred years ago they were originally colonised by the Spanish.  This is also how the country got its name - from the Spanish King, and why there are so many Spanish surnames.

    The Filipinos have different features to other Asians likely because they intermarried with their neighbours in Micronesia, Melanesia and other islanders of the Pacific.  Any Caucasian features would have come from when the islands changed ownership to be under United States control.

    You should be aware that Arabs, Indians (Subcontinent), Siberian Russians, Afghans, Turks, Mongolians and Israelis are all Asians too.  The Middle East is just a sub region of Asia.   Asia is not determined by race or facial features, it is a huge region of the world with a very diverse range of cultures and people that starts at Turkey and the Russian Urals and extends to the Bering Straits bordering the Arctic.
